Bridge Road, BROUGHTON, Huntingdon, PE28 3AY
In the mid-19th century, this village inn incorporated a saddler's shop, thatched stables and piggeries. Today it focuses on being a popular pub and restaurant in a thriving local community. The bar offers real ales from Suffolk and national breweries, and you'll also find Aspall cider. The restaurant combines a traditional pub look with contemporary design, and it's here you'll be able to eat modern European dishes cooked using the best sustainable fish caught by day boats, the highest quality meats and excellent seasonal vegetables. Menus change regularly, so you may find one offering seared pigeon breast; roast cod on a bed of sautéed celeriac; and cappuccino and hazelnut praline gâteau.
