The Quarrymans Arms
Box Hill,
BOX,
Nr Corsham,
SN13 8HN
When Brunel built his Great Western Railway, he tunnelled through the solid limestone beneath this 300-year-old pub, as witnessed by its exceptional display of quarrying memorabilia. Superb views from the restaurant and pub garden over the Box Valley are enjoyed by visiting walkers, cavers and cyclists, but it's a great community pub too, with quizzes, fishing trips and charity fund-raising events. Local ales wash down light meals such as scampi or Boxhill bangers. Options for the truly hungry include the Quarryman's pie, home made to traditional recipes, and lots of fish and game. Look out for mini-ale weeks throughout the year.

This is an excellent venue for any special occasion. They are happy to amend dishes to suit all varieties of food allergies etc. The staff are always happy and helpful. It has an extremely friendly atmposphere. This is one public house/restaurant I am happy to go into on my own.
