The White Lion

Fast approaching its 300th birthday, this former coaching inn sits in the old part of the village in an outstandingly beautiful conservation area. Expect a warm welcome amid oak beams, polished brass and open fires. An outside seating area enjoys views of the Arreton scenery. Well-kept ales and pub grub are served all day, ranging from traditional treats such as whitebait through to Mexican fajitas and Indonesian nasi goreng.
