AA supporting 10,000 bikers on Mother's Day ride through Wootton Bassett
The AA will be supporting the Afghan Heroes Bike Ride on Mother's Day (Sunday, 14 March) in aid of the charity that supports British forces in Afghanistan.
The event will see around 10,000 riders from across the UK converge to pay their respects and show support for the troops abroad by riding en masse through Wootton Bassett.
The AA will be on hand in case of any mechanical problems with a team of two motorbike patrols and two of its specialist motorbike repair and recovery vans.
Stewart Topp, AA patrol of the year, says: "There are many people at the AA who have friends or family in the forces and we have patrols who serve in the reserves, so it's close to our hearts. As a rider, it will be a pretty spectacular sight, and we look forward to doing our bit."
Riders and spectators should follow the AA signs to the start of the Ride.
