A range of new services is fuelling a new nationwide recruitment drive at the AA.
The UK's biggest motoring organisation has more than 200 vacancies for roadside patrols and specialist technicians to support expansion of its various 'Assist' services. The positions are across the country and include around 100 frontline patrols, to be in place in time for winter.
Steve Dewey, AA road operations director, says: "We constantly look to develop new services that help our members. Our innovative AA Fuel Assist service, which helps those who have misfuelled, has grown considerably over the last two years and we have ambitious plans for our other 'Assist' services.
"While we're always on the lookout for people with the relevant skills and experience, we'd also welcome applications from people with the enthusiasm and customer-driven attitude, as comprehensive training is provided."
New Services
The new 'Assist' services being introduced include;
Battery Assist – a new dedicated battery service that can supply and fit batteries to virtually any vehicle on the road
Key Assist – a specialist car key replacement service that can cut and program a key and fob from scratch
We're also investing heavily in our glass repair and replacement service, AA AutoWindshields.
