Legal Expenses Cover offers up to £50,000 in legal costs for pursuing losses that are not insured under your basic van insurance policy. If an accident happens that is not your fault, you will want to claim back your excess and other costs, for example vehicle hire, from the negligent driver. Most importantly, the recovery of these costs will maintain your no-claims bonus, all for just £26 a year.

How reputable are the companies you deal with?
All the insurers on our panel are regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
Is there a courtesy vehicle in the event of an accident?
Yes – with comprehensive cover only, providing the vehicle is repairable (not written off), and the claim is arranged through the insurance company's approved repairer. The provision of a courtesy vehicle will be subject to availability and may be restricted to a 'category A' vehicle.
You can add AA Van Hire Cover to your policy for £30 a year. (This cover runs concurrently with your annual van insurance policy and cannot be added mid-term.) For more information please call 0844 836 1128.
Does the price of my van insurance include legal expenses cover?
No. Legal expenses cover is an optional extra, and full details are provided with your online quotation.
You can add Legal Expenses Cover to your policy for £26 a year. It offers up to £50,000 in legal costs for pursuing losses that are not insured under your van insurance policy.

Are my materials and tools covered by my van insurance?
No goods, samples or tools which you carry in connection with your trade are covered. However, business insurance may cover these.
