We stayed here on a Sunday night . We arrived to a very warm welcome, followed by a very warm sauna and a soothing swim in the brand new spa pool! Dinner was served with superb fare and faultless service. Our room was immaculate and the views to the Shropshire hills quite breathtaking. We enjoyed beauty treatments on Monday morning and left feeling relaxed, renewed and like we had had a proper break from it all. We will certainly be revisiting, and recommending this beautiful hotel

We arrived at 3pm to be told that the restaurant was closed for the night - the only suggestion was to eat at their sister hotel, which we declined. We discovered the hotel was over two miles from the town centre, though their website said one mile. It also says it's a flat walk, but it isn't. The bar was closed that night too. In contrast, the bedroom and breakfast were excellent. Service was varied. Overall a disappointment.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant, one of the best places we have eaten in in England.
