Situated in a tree lined Victorian terrace this luxury 'boutique' hotel has stunning, individually designed bedrooms and suites that have the trademark Egyptian linens and seriously good showers. The oak-panelled Bistro offers a daily-changing menu of both classic and modern dishes with a Scottish influence. Naturally, wine is an important part of the equation here, and knowledgeable staff can guide guests around the impressive wine list. The Rosette award has been suspended due to a change of chef. A new award will be in place once our inspectors have assessed the food cooked by the new kitchen brigade.
