A beautiful Elizabethan mansion built in 1598 enjoying a tranquil setting. One of the first UK country house hotels and remains an excellent example in its class. Bedrooms and bathrooms have been refurbished tastefully and are in keeping with the traditional house yet up to date with amenities and luxury finishing touches. Several day rooms, each with oak panelling, fresh flower arrangements and open fires create a relaxing atmosphere. Cuisine is excellent and makes use of local suppliers and producers.
