Shelford Bottom, CAMBRIDGE, CB22 3AB
Gog Magog, established in 1901, is situated just outside the centre of the university town. The chalk downland courses are on high ground, and it is said that if you stand on the highest point and could see far enough to the east the next highest ground would be the Ural Mountains. There are enough trees and other hazards to provide plenty of problems. Views from the high parts are superb. The nature of the ground ensures good winter golf. The area has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
