Description

Lakeland/Parkland is the longest course in Dorset. Designed by Martin Hawtree with numerous interconnected water features, carefully planned bunkers and sculptured greens. A player who completes a round within handicap has every reason to celebrate. The Woodland course, although shorter, is equally outstanding with rhododendron and tree-lined fairways. All holes built to USGA specification.

Went on weekend break, 2 nights, 3 rounds of golf. First class golf course, 27 holes and a combination of rounds. Very pretty holes on the woodland; all need care to par, greens in fantastic condition albeit a little tricky to read. Club house, restaurant and food very good, staff very friendly. Bedrooms in hotel a little basic but acceptable. Weather was fantastic, as was Weymouth best bitter, all which helps for a great weekend. Definitely would go again. Good value for the money.
