Portsmouth Road, COBHAM, KT11 1JE
Covering 158 acres, this magnificent 18th-century landscape garden was created by Charles Hamilton as a series of subtle and surprising vistas. Its landscape includes authentic 18th-century plantings, a working vineyard, unusual follies, and a unique grotto (limited opening times). The garden is also home to the John Bartram Heritage Collection of North American Trees and Shrubs. There are events for the whole family throughout the year and Father Christmas visits the grotto in December.
