Its landscape includes authentic 18th-century plantings, a working vineyard, unusual follies, and a unique grotto. The garden is also home to the John Bartram Heritage Collection of North American Trees and Shrubs. There are events for the whole family throughout the year and Father Christmas visits the grotto in December.
