Sea Life Centre

Marine Parade, BRIGHTON, BN2 1TB

The Brighton Sea Life Centre offers a fun and educational day out whatever the weather. You will be taken on a fascinating journey through the original Victorian architecture of the oldest operating aquarium in the world, from the coastline to the depths of the ocean. Here is a magical underwater world, filled with a dazzling array of amazing creatures. As well as being able to ride in the UK's first indoor glass-bottom boat, visitors will also be able to take a behind-the-scenes tour, join in with an interactive rockpool experience where they can touch crabs and starfish, and immerse themselves in the new Rainforest Adventure. In the last of these there are anaconda, water dragons, poison dart frogs, piranha and a group of rescued terrapins. There are free talks and feeds throughout the day. NB: An additional charge applies for the boat and Behind the Scenes tour.
