Write a review

Cardiff Castle is situated in the heart of the city. Contained within its mighty walls is a history spanning nearly 2000 years, dating from the coming of the Romans to the Norman Conquest and its transformation into a Gothic fantasy by the Victorians. Discover spectacular interiors and enjoy magnificent views of the city from the top of the 12th-century Norman keep. The Interpretation Centre includes a film presentation and a audio guide around the Castle grounds. Regular events throughout the year include an open air theatre, medieval and Roman re-enactments and much more.
