This attractive country house has a quiet parkland setting in the heart of the city, on the edge of Durdham Downs. It stands in glorious gardens and is furnished with period pieces and paintings. The pleasant, well-equipped bedrooms have en suite facilities and the added bonus of sweeping views across the Downs. A nice finishing touch to each room is a basket of life's little necessities. Breakfast is an impressive variety of hot and cold dishes. There is a drawing room with an open fire, and a library containing many books about Bristol.
