Exact Model: Grand Cherokee
Description: FIRE MAY OCCUR

Numbers: 5265

Recall: No. 8 of 15
Recall Ref: R/2014/079

Build Date: August 2010 to August 2014

Defect: The brake booster may prematurely corrode. If perforation of the brake booster shell (due to corrosion) occurs water could enter the brake booster during wet weather. Action: Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected to check the brake booster for corrosion and where necessary replace the brake booster. In all cases a shield to protect the brake booster crimp joints from water exposure will be fitted.
