Defect: It has been identified that due to the inlet filter for the exhaust gas recirculating valve (EGR) being in an exposed position, there is a possibility of water entering the brake servo vacuum pipe. This can give rise to the possibility of ice forming within the pipe during periods of low ambient temperature, with the possibility of reduced brake servo assistance.
Action: Recalled vehicles will have the EGR valve solenoids checked for the presence of separate air filters. If this is not the case new solenoids with separate filters will be fitted.

Defect: On a small number of Fiat Ulysse and Scudo vehicles because of a problem that has arisen in the external suppliers process, the ratchet gear of the handbrake control assembly might not have been subjected to the correct heat treatment which may result in the disengagement of the handbrake.
Action: Recall affected vehicles and fit a quality assured handbrake lever and ratchet assembly.
