Defect: The main cable between the battery and the master switch can contact the edge of the body panel in the boot area. If the panel cuts through the cable insulation a short circuit may occur, resulting in potential loss of electrical supply and a possible risk of fire.
Action: Affected vehicles are being recalled for inspection of the battery cable routing. Where insufficient clearance exists, the cable will be repositioned. Additionally if the cable shows signs of wear it will be repaired or replaced as required.

Description: BRAKE PIPES

Defect: In some cases the pipes connecting the brake pumps to the hydraulic accumulators have been incorrectly routed. There is a possibility of these pipes fouling which could result in brake failure.
Action: The hydraulic pipes concerned are to be inspected and where pipe clearance is found to be insufficient this will be adjusted to manufacturers specification.
