The passenger compartment remained stable during the frontal impact. Structures in the dashboard presented a risk of injury to the knees and femurs of the driver and passenger. The passenger's chest was compressed more than the driver's. In side impact, the T5 scored maximum points. No pole test was performed as a head-protecting airbag is available only as an option. In the pedestrian protection tests both the bumper and the front edge of the bonnet scores no points for protection of pedestrians' legs. The bonnet was rated as predominantly weak for the protection it offered to the head of a struck adult or child.
