Compare with other cars in the Small MPV category
The Corolla Verso has a car body that is extremely stable and provides good protection for occupants with only just over one point lost in frontal impact. The restraints include dual stage frontal airbags, side and curtain airbags and a driver knee airbag. The knee airbag deploys for crashes above 25kph and gives good protection to the knees. An intelligent seatbelt reminder system is fitted for both the driver and the front seat passenger. The three year old child restraint used ISOFIX anchorages and a top tether but the protection for the child's chest was weak. Pedestrian protection was limited with no special efforts made to protect pedestrian knees and upper legs from injury.
