The car tested was fitted with dual front airbags, front seat pre-tensioners and load-limiters, side impact airbag and a head protecting curtain airbag. The car had ISOFIX anchorages and provision for top-tethers in the rear outboard seats. It had a seatbelt reminder for the front seats and ABS and Brake-Assist as standard. EuroNCAP commented that there was heavy distortion and rupture of the driver's footwell in the frontal test. Both driver and passenger were contacted by their airbags during deployment but contact thereafter was stable.
