Compare with other cars in the Small MPV category
Although the driver's footwell did not rupture, there was extensive deformation and the clutch pedal moved rearward by 175mm, leading to a weak rating for protection of the driver's lower legs, feet and ankles. Structures in the dashboard presented a risk of injury to the knees and femurs of the driver and passenger. In the side impact and pole tests the car scored maximum points based on dummy responses but the car was penalised because the driver's door became unlatched in the side impact. The leading edge of the bonnet scored no points for the protection offered to pedestrians' legs. Similarly, the bonnet scored no points for the protection offered to adults' heads. the bumper scored performed better however and achieved maximum points.
