In the frontal impact the driver's head bottomed-out the airbag and deformed the upper part of the steering wheel rim. The lower part of the steering wheel rim was deformed by contact with the chest. Damage around the driver's door aperture suggested that the bodyshell had been loaded as far as possible and could not have withstood a more severe impact. Structures in the dashboard presented a potential hazard to the knees and femurs of the driver and passenger. Protection of the chest in the side impact test was rated only as 'weak'. No seatbelt reminders are fitted, whilst in the pedestrian tests the bumper scored no points for the protection it offered to pedestrian's lower legs.
