Objectives
At the end of the lesson the student will be able to:- Compare the advantages and disadvantages of buying a car
- Identify steps and actions in the car-buying process
- List the most likely ways of financing the purchase
Lesson summary
First-time car buyers have a complicated task. They have to figure out their budget, consider additional costs, and look at the various cars available.
This lesson familiarises students with the car buying process and looks at the benefits and possible issues related to car ownership. The activities in the lesson plan encourage students to start thinking about the financial implications of buying a car, and the different ways to buy.
