- Understand the variety of ways in which cars are advertised
Lesson summary
Advertising and marketing techniques can influence spending decisions. So it's useful for young people to understand the variety of ways in which products – in this case cars – are made to appeal to particular groups.This lesson concentrates on how and why consumers choose different car brands. Students are also asked to think about what different consumers need in a vehicle, and how different cars can meet those needs.
