Always use your mobile phone safely – park legally before dialling or checking text messages. You must not use AA routes in a way that interferes with your control of your vehicle, or otherwise endangers your safety or the safety of others. No representation is made or guarantee given as to the content or usability of the directions. TheAA.com and its suppliers assume no responsibility for any loss or delay resulting from use of these directions.

You must have a valid email address and choose a valid password so that you can log in to our Internet service.

We will only allow you to log in and use the online account section of the site if you use your email address and password.

You must provide us with a valid and up-to-date email address. If you change your email address you should let us know immediately by logging in to your account, selecting 'Change Details', and entering your new email address.

You can select the Privacy Policy link at the bottom of each screen to read the Privacy Policy at any time. Please print off and retain for your records a copy of these Terms and Conditions and any application form completed. Please see the general Website Terms and Conditions.

Copyright, trademarks, database rights and all other intellectual property rights in the content of all information provided to you belongs to the Automobile Association ('AA') or its licensors or suppliers. All rights are reserved. Unless expressly permitted no material may be copied, recorded, stored in a retrieval system, reproduced or transmitted in any form or by any means, without prior written permission of the AA. All information is sent over the Internet and you should be aware that delays can occur in transmission to your mailbox.

The Services may only be used for private, personal, non-commercial use and may not be copied, sublicensed, reproduced or otherwise transmitted or dealt with whatsoever. Any commercial or business use of the Services or data contained within them is strictly prohibited unless agreed and licensed by the AA. Please contact the AA about any proposed commercial or business use of the Services.

All map images served from www.theaa.com are copyright material. No more than 10 copies no greater than A4 (625cm²) in size can be printed of any one transaction.

While the AA has taken care in the provision of the Services, they are provided on an 'as is' basis and to the extent permitted by law the AA or its licensors or suppliers do not accept any liability arising from inaccuracies, omissions or delays in the information or transmission of messages.

Use and apply the Services legally and safely at all times ensuring that your vehicle is stationary and parked legally and safely while using the Services. If the Services are delivered by a mobile communication device always use a hands-free kit while driving.

We will not be liable to you if you are unable to access or use the site due to the failure of any machine, data processing system or transmission link, any period of essential maintenance, critical change, repairs, alteration to or failure of computer systems, any industrial dispute or anything beyond our reasonable control or that of our agents or subcontractors.

We may, at our discretion, at any time and without prior notice, withdraw all or any part of this service. We shall be under no liability to you whatsoever, in the event that the service is so withdrawn.

The Services are provided on an 'as is' basis. The AA or its licensors or suppliers do not make any warranty or representation of any kind whether express or implied including any implied warranties as to satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose, non infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy. In no event will the AA be liable whether in contract or tort (including negligence or breach of statutory duty or otherwise ) for any losses sustained and arising out of or in connection with the use of the Services including loss of profits, loss of data, economic loss, loss of business and loss of goodwill (in all these cases, whether direct or indirect) nor any indirect or consequential or special loss or damage. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

The service is subject to the laws of England and Wales and in the case of a dispute the Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland, the laws of Scotland shall apply and the Courts of Scotland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

The website Privacy Policy shall apply to the Services.

The Services may use and contain information and data which is owned and supplied by TeleAtlas UK Limited ('TA'). You agree that your use of TA data within any of the Services is permitted subject to the following terms in addition to the Travel Terms and Conditions and the General Terms and Conditions:

The use of TA data is strictly for internal business or personal use and not for resale, sublicense or commercial use.

TA data is confidential information owned by TA and shall not be disclosed to third parties.

Unless otherwise expressly permitted you shall not copy TA data.

You shall not remove or obscure any copyright or trademark notice, or restrictive legend of TA or its suppliers including Ordnance Survey.

TA's terms of use may be enforced by TA directly against you.

Neither TA nor its suppliers shall be liable to you for any incidental, consequential, special, indirect or exemplary damages arising out of this agreement, including lost profits or costs of cover, loss of use or business interruption of the like, regardless of whether TA was advised of the possibility of such damages.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary conained herein, TA shall have no monetary liability to you for any cause (regardless of the form of action) under or relating to this agreement.

The TA data is provided 'as is' and on a 'with all faults' basis. TA and its suppliers expressly disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of non-infringment, merchantability, satisfactory quality, accuracy, title and fitness for a particular purpose. No oral or written advice or information provided by TA or any of its agents, employees or third party providers shall create a warranty, and licensee is not entitled to rely on any such advice or information. This disclaimer of warranties is an essential condition of the use of the TA data.

You acknowledge that Ordnance Survey makes no warranty and gives no representation that the Tele Atlas MultiNet® data of the United Kingdom is complete, accurate and/or up to date and it is an essential condition of the Terms of Use that End User accepts the Tele Atlas MultiNet® data of the United Kingdom on that basis.

Unless otherwise expressly permitted you shall not use Tele Atlas MultiNet® data of the United Kingdom in any printed, published form namely and without limitation by freely distributing or selling it to the public without the prior permission of Ordnance Survey.

You agree that you are liable to Ordnance Survey in the event of discovery of breach of the aforementioned terms.
