Explore the Norfolk Broads
The Norfolk Broads is the UK’s largest nationally protected wetland and a complex network of mostly navigable rivers and man-made waterways created by peat digging in the Middle Ages. These 125 miles of navigable waterway are ideal for a relaxing boating holiday or a rather more testing trip in a canoe. Located just a short trip from Norwich, there are also a number of villages and market towns within the Broads, as well as nature reserves and the odd windmill. Take a guided boat trip from Wroxham and Hoveton for the best experience without the effort.
