Great Witley Circuit: a Sneeze in the Trees

First the good news - lovely walk, great views in places. Now the bad news - to do the above, you need to be able to navigate by the sun/stars, as the instructions leave something to be desired....the first line is wrong...it's the A443 you cross, not the A451! Good luck finding the 'Four trees'...no mention near the end of several hundred yards of road before the two fields by the Hundred House. Enjoyed it all though!

Good walk!! We trundled round in late November and really enjoyed it....lots of geese and turkeys...may not be as many in January....wink!! We had our 3 dogs with us and only encountered 2 non-dog friendly stiles...others had crawl spaces or were gated for horses. route gets a bit confusing towards the end but the walking/scenery is good so getting diverted is no big deal. We drove to The Manor in Abberley for a pint afterwards.....lovely pub with open fire and good beer/food.

This was a tremendous walk and the scenery from the high viewpoints is stunning. I felt that the grading might be ok for fitter walkers than me but the uphill climbs were steep, especially the first through the trees. Definately a walk well worth doing.

This was a very enjoyable and refreshing walk. A lovely walk up through the trees and a magnificent view from the top. And when you reach the clock tower, ther are sum lovely reindeers in a field. This is a walk to be recomended, and would certanly do it again. Also lots of snowdrops scatererd everywhere.
