Description
With stunning views over the city, The Sheraton Park Tower houses its flagship seafood restaurant, One-O-One, which has had a complete make-over and has emerged as a venue worthy of the cooking of chef Pascal Proyart. The room is now more in line with today's fashion for mellow, natural tones, with atmospheric new lighting and a huge central illuminated glass-topped table. There is also a stylish bar and private dining room. Service remains friendly and efficient, while the restaurant has taken a new direction and is now based around the grazing-style of dining, although the traditional three-course format is still available. The 4 sections of the menu are given names like 'Low tide and wonderful discovery' and 'The goodness of the sea and earth' and feature the chef's French-inspired food, cooked with considerable flair and creativity using top rate produce. Thus red tuna tartar comes with soft-shell crab in beautifully cooked tempura batter, and a stunning wasabi sorbet, with the waiter dramatically injecting soy sauce into some sushi rice at the table. Another dish sees grilled pavé of wild brill combined with squid ink pappardelle, a tian of fondant vegetables and sauce Provençal. (There are a few meat dishes on the menu.)
