Description
Spanning three floors of a Glasgow tenement, this popular restaurant has a distinctly contemporary style, with a lacquered tiled floor, stone and leather-covered walls - decorated with modern art and quirky antiques - and lightwood tables throughout. Whether eating in the informal bar or the main basement dining area, expect a daring and exciting menu cooked with flair and imagination. The chef makes the best use of fresh Scottish ingredients, adding an international twist in keeping with the restaurant's 'think global, eat local' motto. Try the Aberdeenshire haddie, mussel and sweetcorn velouté and Gruyère fugu to start, followed by the Acharacle venison osso bucco, pan-fried ricotta and sage and parmesan gnocchi. There are also interesting vegetarian dishes available.
