All we can say is that the Daffodil experience was wonderful. Food, wine service and staff was excellent. Having come from Mallorca where we are spoilt for choice this was refreshing. We will have no problem recommending this restaurant to our friends. Thanks Amy.

I only get to Cheltenham once or twice a year but when I do a visit to The Dafodil is now obligatory. Whilst on previous visits I have had minor gripes about slow service and slightly cramped table, this visit excelled. I could not fault any aspect from the service, atmosphere or the food. I even discovered a new favorite cocktail called, I think, a 'winter warmer', sloe gin topped with prosecco. Keep up the good work.

Kay and I attended another of The Daffodil's Jazz Evenings with, this time, Bex and Franks and Co performing; as always, it was a wonderful evening with superb music. The Daily's menu was superb, the service impeccable, and the occasion a delight. Well done The Daffodil, and many, many thanks for a yet another memorable night, which made us feel very special.

It was my wife's 30th birthday and I wanted to take the family for a special meal. Wat a great evening we had. Some of the best food that I have tasted in a restaurant for a long time. Coupled together with a fantastic level of service and this made for a wonderful evening that everyone enjoyed. A very sophisticated and elegant venue.

My husband and I visited The Daffodil for our anniversary, and it could not have been a better night out. We shared the Discovery menu, which was perfect as we couldn't decide on which starters or desserts to go with, and this came with a selection of all those on our short list! The service was friendly and attentive, but not overly so, and the atmosphere was buzzing - even for a Monday night. We can't wait to return.

Lovely and unusual art deco cinema setting in the Suffolks district of Cheltenham- nice cocktail bar, good and attentive staff, quality food and a buzz with kitchens on the stage providing some theatre! Looking forward to visiting again.....

Have eaten at the Daffodil four times and have not been disappointed. Would recommend highly either for casual meal-out or celebration. The service is friendly, efficient and non-intrusive, food is delicious, plentiful and well-presented. Do wish they wouldn't charge extra for vegetables though!

We wanted somewhere special for a family meal and happened to see The daffodil on tripadvisor. We were totally taken aback by the venue, an old -refurbished- cinema. When our alloted time arrived we were escorted to our table, and shown the menu that was varied and appetising. The food was, without fail, delicious, hot and plentiful. It was a Friday night, and the noise levels were quite high, probably due to the acustics of the old cinema. We'll definitely be going again.

I've been eating lunch with clients at the Daffodil atleast once a month for the last 18 months, the food is always excellent and never fails to impress, service also very good, and very good value for money. There are few other restaurants in Cheltenham that 'tick all these boxes'

This is a fun place to eat. The venue was formerly a 1920s art deco cinema, so while an entertaining - pun intended! - restaurant, the food is also excellent and the service discreet and efficient. I have only eaten at lunchtimes, but have been told by friends that the evenings are really buzzing.

The description sums it up. It really is that good. The setting tops it off and whatever your budget you will have a great time. The food has been outstanding on all 4 occasions both lunch and dinner. A good way to sample is to try a jazz night on a Monday. Its a great way to enjoy great food, drink and service without it being stuffy.

From the moment you walk into this converted 1920's art deco theatre, you are treated to customer service at a very high standard. The staff are very frendly, knowledgeable and accomodating. I cannot rate this restaurant highly enough and would urge anybody to try it.

Wonderfull, friendly and welcomeing. Set in an old Art Deco picture house, you must visit the Daffodil when in Cheltenham. Good wine list, we had a glass each of red and white, both were good. First rate menu, good selection inc vegetarian, all with great vegetables, both our main course meals were cooked to a turn. The puddings are to die for you must come and try them. If you only have time to eat at one venue in Cheltenham make it the Daffodil.
