Typical mains are caramelised breast of duck, calves' liver and bacon, venison sausages, grilled fillet of plaice, and slow-roasted tomato tart with Somerset brie. A most excellent public house and good a place to eat. The most exciting thing about this place is that it improves with every visit. A business that seems to be aware that innovation is the only way to success. Traditional yet modern. Free wireless Internet. I give it a 5 but the management are working towards a 6 or higher.
