The best dining experience I have had in years, lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, I have not eaten pork for years but I tried the kelmscott pork, it was wonderful. very good wines, definitely going back for more.

Superb from start to finish. Fantastic food, building and service - they could not do enough for us. The meal was the best we have had in ages - better than a Michelin starred restaurant we went to recently, at a fraction of the price. We will definitely be returning. It gets very busy though so booking is advisable.

What a great find - this place is one in a million. Did the previous reviewer go to the right place?! We had really well executed tasty food, faultless service and a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. A truly exceptional meal! I would recommend it to anyone. It gets busy though so I would suggest booking.

What a fantastic place! I was dubious at first after reading the earlier review but lots of people recommended it and I am now so glad I gave it a chance - I am not sure 'Torontodad' visited the same place! The food was fabulous and the staff could not do enough to help - we had the best meal we had had in ages and can't recommend it highly enough! The place was packed so I would definitely suggest booking. Ten out of ten!

We needed to find a place to celebrate our son's confirmation with a family party of all ages. Kay and her staff were amazing - taking care to send us information in advance by email, providing a private dining area in the Gallery and then looking after us with effortless service. This family team clearly put a real passion into what they do but manage to create a very relaxed atmosphere. Food is delicious, service is attentive but not clumsy, and pricing is just right. Worth travelling for.

I found this in the pub guide 2005 and chose the White Hart for a family meal. The food was excellent and very good value for the money. The service top notch and the staff all very friendly. We found the atmosphere relaxing and enjoyed a real ale sitting next to the open fire prior to sitting down for lunch.
