The Windmill Inn

First visit loved the place so much went back again next day,food ,drink and staff all cannot be faulted,very good value for money would recommend a visit.Looking forward to returning on next visit to Yorkshire.

Not sure that previous reviewers have been to the same establishment as me. Welcome and food fantastic, staff went out of their way to help us and find us a table. Not a huge selection on the menu, but perfectly fine for a Sunday, puddings superb. When the car park is full, you know the pub is great!!

Standards have improved since my last visit and this time I was pleased by the food. Still not a great variety of dishes but made a good choice of pan-fried salmon with new potatoes and hollandaise sauce on a bed of salad. It was a very good and tasty dish served in an attractive pub. The service and choice of drinks still requires some work upon.

Arrived for Sunday lunch but there was not an extensive choice of dishes within the bar by any means. The food was simply okay and chose a grilled Cajun chicken salad with new potatoes. I would not make a scheduled journey there again as there are other venues in the area offering better food and a more friendly service.
