Telephone Access Plus Account benefits

  • Interest is calculated daily and credited to the account annually on the anniversary date of the first deposit, or on the first day of each month for the monthly interest option.

Things you need to know

  • Rates are effective from 1 May 2008.
  • You must link your account to another Bank or Building Society account (which must accept Direct Debits and be in your name), to transfer money effortlessly to and from your account. This will be your 'Linked Account'.
  • Interest can be paid back to your Telephone Access Plus Account or to your nominated Linked Account.
  • Rates are variable.
  • We'll send you an annual statement to help you stay up to date.

* AER stands for annual equivalent rate and illustrates what the interest rate would be if interest was paid and compounded once each year. As every advertisement for a savings product which quotes an interest rate will contain an AER, you will be able to compare more easily what you can expect from your savings over time. Gross is the contractual rate of interest payable before the deduction of income tax as specified by law.
