A clifftop position overlooking the neighbouring islands draws people to this sleek contemporary restaurant near St Peter Port. The menu is big on fish and seafood, as in seared scallops with aromatic twice-cooked pork belly, or main course pan-roasted brill with warm tartare sauce and mussels deep-fried in panko breadcrumbs. Steak boards include onglet, fillet and Angus rump (served with chunky chips or French fries), or the whopping côte de boeuf for two to share. The fixed-price menu offers value at lunchtime and midweek evenings. Finish with a clever take on Eton Mess - a toffee and apple version with apple compôte, meringue, caramel brittle, Guernsey cream and toffee sauce.
