Outlaw's Fish Kitchen

1 Middle Street, PORT ISAAC, PL29 3RH

2 rosettes

Nathan Outlaw is a big fish in Cornwall with a number of restaurants across the county (plus one in London), the pick of which is Restaurant Nathan Outlaw itself. The Fish Kitchen is a rustic little place right on the harbour, with sea views, unclothed tables and an easy-going vibe. The menu is straight and true when it comes to the fruits of the sea - crab fritters turn up with curry mayonnaise before a perfectly timed John Dory fillet with saffron, mussel and cucumber sauce. For dessert, there is elderflower set cream, blueberry jelly and sugared pistachios.
