Tucked away on a quiet arm of Loch Linnhe, this waterside restaurant is a simple, magnolia-painted space - there's no point fretting over interior design when all eyes are turned towards the peaks marching across the skyline above the loch. Oysters are hand-picked from the Lismore oyster beds, mussels and langoustines come from Loch Linnhe, and lobsters are kept in creels at the end of the pier where day boats drop off fish. Who could resist seared scallops with artichoke purée and Stornoway black pudding to start? The glorious simplicity and freshness of the seafood platters is hard to ignore, and there's Drambuie crème brûlée to send you home happy.
