Staffed by an equally youthful team, the lively cocktail bar at the front opens onto a small lounge-style eating area with low-level darkwood tables, burgundy leather banquettes and large stools, mirror-lined walls and subdued lighting for a clubby vibe. High quality mainly British ingredients star in straightforward modern stuff such as Cumbrian venison tartare and quail's egg yolk before glazed belly of Gloucestershire Old Spot pork with caramelised rhubarb, champ and scratchings.
