The centrepiece of Kaspar's striking, art deco-inspired dining room is the seafood and oyster bar. You won't meet Kaspar there, but if you are part of a table of 13, this sculpted cat can make numbers up to 14, maintaining an old Savoy tradition (ask your stripey-trousered and waistcoated waiter to elaborate). At bar or table, a robust lobster bisque makes an excellent starter, followed by perfectly grilled Atlantic halibut and lemon hollandaise sauce, a fruits de mer platter, smoked or cured fish, or a grill, and exotic guava and passionfruit salad for dessert. A good range of wines is offered by the glass and carafe.
