This elegant hotel with a rich history stands looking out across the Channel from its prominent position on the seafront. Dishes are served on the finest tableware, in keeping with the grandeur of the stately establishment. Offerings from the kitchen include tried and tested favourites with an eye on seasonal produce. A visually appealing starter of pan-seared scallops is served on a butternut squash purée and topped with parmesan crisp and truffle oil. Follow this up with roasted rump of lamb accompanied by potato fondant, creamed curly kale and red wine jus before topping it all off with a dark chocolate and banana mousse and toffee banana sauce.
