The original Victorian building hosts the Quay Bar and Brasserie and the main dining option, Wilde's, which offers glorious views over Lough Corrib from its first-floor setting. The kitchen aims to impress with its ambitious contemporary output (including a tasting menu) and local suppliers are name-checked on the menu. Killary Fjord mussels are cooked in squid ink batter and matched with a liquorice mayonnaise, while beef tartare comes with a hen's egg, wood sorrel and horseradish. 'Wilde's Wild Fish' is a main course dish of turbot with monk's beard and Caesar sauce, and, to finish, rum baba gets a hit from its accompanying wasabi ice cream.
