Bay View Inn

True to its name, this welcoming, family-run pub has wonderful views of the rolling Atlantic from its restaurant and the large raised decking area outside. Dating back about a hundred years, it was a guesthouse for many years before becoming an inn in the 1960s. The menu makes excellent use of local produce, as in the signature dish of Exmoor fillet steak on sweet potato dauphinoise with wilted spinach, wild mushroom pâté and an onion and red wine reduction. Other choices include home-made pies, stews and bistro-style burgers.
