The multi-coloured classic cars lined up outside make it hard to miss this friendly country inn. Farming equipment decorates the rustic-style bars, whilst the patio, beer garden and children's play area are popular on warmer days. The comprehensive menu ranges from locally caught seafood dishes, sandwiches, salads, grills and pub favourites to home-made dishes like vegetable stirfry; steak and ale pie; chicken with roasted red pepper and tomato ragout; and beef goulash. There's also a daily chalkboard menu of specials and desserts, and a children's menu.

Our first visit for some time. How very disappointing- the food now appears to be ready made/ bought in fare-we had to send back 4 out of 11 main courses because of inferior meat or incorrect dishes being served. The choice of sweets was so limited that we passed completely. The prices were similar to those charged in gastro pubs where food is far superior and mainly home prepared and cooked so we did not think that the meal was good value for money. We will not return.
