The White Swan

Swan Street, SILEBY, LE12 7NW

Behind the unassuming exterior of this 1930s building, you'll find a free house of some character, with a book-lined restaurant and a homely bar with an open fire and pictures and knick-knacks adorning the walls. Menus change weekly, and there are blackboard specials, too. Their pub nights prove popular - home-made pie night; sausage and burger night; and spicy night. Typical dishes are duck and vegetable pancake rolls; and twice-baked cheddar and chive souffl for starters, followed by beef cobbler; orzo pasta with Mediterranean vegetables and feta; and roast leg of lamb with butternut squash and potato cake.
