The Fox

One of the Brunning & Price pub family, The Fox is a grand Edwardian building with spacious rooms and little nooks wrapped around a busy central bar, where plenty of Shropshire real ales demand attention. The menu offers sandwiches and light meals (beef stirfry, crab linguine), as well as smoked haddock and salmon fishcakes with tomato salad; pan-fried lamb rump served with Greek salad; and venison, black pudding and apple pie with mash, vegetables and gravy.
