The Rising Sun

A former drovers' pub set in beautiful countryside, The Rising Sun is run by Paul and Louise Cheakley. Paul, who is also the chef, is totally committed to local produce, including daily delivered crab, lobster, cod and other freshly caught fish from Brixham. There's a bar menu, a carte and a specials board, on one or more of which mixed fish grill, chicken korma, Greek salad, West Country cheeses, and home-made puddings are likely to appear. Children can choose from their own menu. En suite accommodation includes a family room.
