The Old Mill

A handsome stone inn in a village of thatched cottages tucked away in the tranquil Ouse Valley; with its attractive bedrooms, The Old Mill is an ideal base to stay over. The beer range changes with the seasons, whilst the choice on the menu relies heavily on what's available from local suppliers. There's a solid base of pub favourites like sausage and mash with onion gravy and peas; Hunter's chicken with skinny chips and side salad; or smoked haddock and salmon fishcake, wilted spinach with tomato and caper salsa. There's a peaceful, dog-friendly grassy garden, whilst a wood-burner flickers in the cosy bar. Regulars are keep active by playing skittles in the local league.
