Sambrook's Brewery in Battersea furnishes this pub with its Wandle and Junction ales, the former named after a nearby river and the latter for the famous station at Clapham. The young brewery's crafted ales fit well with the Roundhouse, which has undergone a renaissance in name, decor and management in recent years. But the ambience of a friendly local has been preserved, with a round black walnut bar, open kitchen, eclectic art on the walls, daily-changing menus and those lip-smacking Sambrook's ales. The concise menu takes in charcuterie board; home-made soup; lamb burger; beer battered hake; and mushroom, spinach and ricotta cannelloni.
