Sambrook's Brewery in Battersea furnishes this pub with its Wandle and Junction ales, the former named after a nearby river and the latter for the famous station at Clapham. The young brewery's crafted ales fit well with The Roundhouse, which underwent a renaissance in name, décor and management a few years ago. The ambience is of a friendly local, with a round black walnut bar, open kitchen, eclectic art on the walls, daily-changing menus and those lip-smacking Sambrook's ales. The concise menu takes in a charcuterie board; home-made soup; lamb burger; beer-battered hake; and mushroom, spinach and ricotta cannelloni.
