The Prince Bonaparte

80 Chepstow Road, LONDON, W2 5BE

The building, originally a gin house built in 1850, is noted for its airy and open plan interior. It became a first-generation gastro-pub in the early 1990s, featuring a large half moon bar fronted by high tables; lofty ceiling spaces, a skylight and theatre-style kitchen characterise the dining room. Guest ales and many bottled beers witness its credentials as a drinker's pub, confirmed by the beer festival held here in the third week of March. High quality produce likely to feature on the excellent menu may include Dover sole, lamb from Devon and New Forest venison.
